BIOGRAFIA
Christian de la Campa Kindall nació el 16 de Noviembre de 1981 en la ciudad de Houston E.E.U.U . Hijo de padre mexicano y madre norteamericana viajó desde muy pequeño a Mexico donde creció y recibió su educacion académica. Orgullozo de sus raices mexicanas se vanagloria en decir que sus valores y principios estan moldeados por los años que vivió en México.
Christian se enroló en la academia aerea de los Estados Unidos donde recibió entrenamiento como mecánico de aviones y en la que permaneció por 6 años.
Mientras realizaba estudios de Justicia Penal, Christian recibe una llamada de Televisa y posteriormente decide estudiar actuación en el Centro de Educación Artistica “CEA” de Televisa donde se gradua en Diciembre del 2010. En ese mismo año participa en la obra de teatro “La Vida No Vale Nada” creada y dirigida por Luiz Mario Moncada. Su Carrera actoral despega en el 2011 cuando participa en “Una Familia Con Suerte” de Televisa que fue dirigida por Juan Osorio, en esta novela interpreta el papel de Martin Corona. Ese mismo año actua en la novela “Una Familia Con Suerte”.
Por un corto tiempo Christian incursiona en el mundo del modelaje participando en el 2010 en el “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” y en certámenes de modelaje donde representa a Mejico en el concurso de Mister Universe Model 2011 quedando en el sexto lugar. Christian recibe el título de Mister Ocean World 2011.
A partir del año 2012 Christian se une a la familia de Telemundo interpretando a Joaquin “Joaco” Rivera en la serie “Relaciones Peligrosas” creada y dirigida por Roberto Stopello. Su Carrera continua en ascenso y en Octubre del 2012 se estrena la novela “La Patrona” donde Christian interpreta el papel de Alberto Espino. “La Patrona” gana el Premio Tu Mundo 2013 a mejor telenovela.
Christian continua incrementando su popularidad y en el 2013 participa en la novela “Santa Diabla” realizando tres papeles actorales como Franco Garcia Herrera, Sebastián Blanco y René Alonzo. Esta novela tambien gana Premios Tu Mundo 2014 a mejor telenovela.
El mayor éxito de Christian de la Campa ocurre en el 2014 al recibir su primer papel protagónico en la gran producción de la cadena de Telemundo “Tierra de Reyes” interpretando a Samuel el menor de los hermanos Rey Gallardo. Christian recibe la aclamación del pùblico al hacerse merecedor del premio al Protagonista Favorito en Premios Tu Mundo 2015 y tambien compartir el premio a la Pareja Perfecta con la actriz Scarlet Gruber. Esta novela recibe los más altos indices de audiencia de programas en español en los Estados Unidos y además gana el premio a mejor telenovela en Premios Tu Mundo 2015. La novela está siendo transmitida actualmente en Europa y Centro y Suramerica como tambien en las islas de Republica Dominicana y Puerto Rico.
Terminadas las grabaciones de “Tierra de Reyes” Christian viaja a España después de recibir la oferta de participar como Torcuato (uno de los siete dicípulos del Apostol Santiago) en la produccion Mejico-Española “Santiago Apostol” producida por José Manuel Brandariz y dirigida por Alan Colon. La película se espera sea estrenada en el 2016.
Actualmente Christian esta participando con su compañera Scarlet Gruber en una campaña publicitaria de la firma USANA.
En su vida privada a Christian le encanta viajar y acaba de regresar de un viaje de tres meses por Europa end donde hizo paradas en España y Viena para reunirse con sus seguidoras, algo que a el le encanta hacer.
Christian es un deportista innato y por muchos años Christian práctico el futbol pero desafortundamente tuvo que dejarlo por una lesion. A pesar de eso es fanatico del Real madrid y por supuesto de su querido Mejico . Tambien disfruta mucho de manejar motocicletas y adora a su Ducatti a la que cariñosamente llama “Pretty Eyes”.
Además es un amante de la lectura y le goza mucho aventurandose en los deportes de alto riesgo como el bungee cord, paracaidismo y buseo.
BIOGRAPHY
Christian de la Campa Kindall was born on November 16, 1981 in Houston, TX. Son of Mexican father and American mother, moved at a very young age to Mexico where he grew up and received his academic education. Proud of his Mexican roots he is happy to say that his values nd principles are shaped by the years he lived in Mexico.
Christian joined the Air Force Academy in the United States where he was trained as an aircraft mechanic and where he stayed for 6 years.
While conducting studies of Criminal Justice, Christian gets a call from Televisa and later decided to study acting at the Center for Arts Education "CEA" Televisa where he graduated in December 2010. That same year he participated in the theater play "The Vida No Vale Nada" created and directed by Luiz Mario Moncada. His acting career took off in 2011 when he participated in the soap opera "Una Familia Con Suerte" from Televisa. It was directed by Juan Osorio and in this production he plays Martin Corona. That same year he starred in the soup opera "Una Familia Con Suerte".
For a short time Christian ventured into the modeling world participating in 2010 in the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" and various other modeling events. One in which he represents Mexico in Mister Universe Model 2011 running in sixth place. Christian also received the title of Mister World 2011 Ocean.
From the year 2012 Christian joined the Telemundo Family playing Joaquin "Joaco" Rivera in the series "Dangerous Liaisons" created and directed by Roberto Stopello. His career continued to rise and in October 2012 the TV production "La Patrona" made its debut, in which Christian plays Alberto Espino. “La Patrona” won the 2013 Premio Tu Mundo for the best soap opera.
Christian continued to increase in popularity. In 2013 he participated in the soap opera "Santa Diabla" making three acting roles as Franco Herrera Garcia, Sebastian Blanco and Rene Alonzo. This soup opera also won Premios Tu Mundo 2014 for best soap opera.
The most successful role of Christian de la Campa happened in 2014 when he received his first starring role in Telemundo’s "Tierra de Reyes" as Samuel, the younger brother of the family Rey Gallardo. Christian received public acclaim to be worthy of the award for Favorite Protagonist Premios Tu Mundo in 2015 and also shares the award for Favorite Couple with actress Scarlet Gruber. This soap opera received the highest ratings of programs in Spanish in the United States and also wins the award for best telenovela Premios Tu Mundo in 2015. The production is currently being broadcast in Europe, Central and South America as well as in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
Once the recordings of "Tierra de Reyes" are over Christian travels to Spain after receiving the offer to participate as Torcuato (one of the seven disciples of the Apostol Santiago) in the Mexican-Spanish film "Santiago Apostol" that was produced by Jose Manuel Brandariz and directed by Alan Colon. The film is expected to be released in 2016.
Currently he is working along with his co-star Scarlet Gruber promoting USANA products.
In his private life Christian loves to travel and has just returned from a three month trip through Europe where he made stops in Spain and Vienna to meet with his followers, something he loves to do. He enjoys riding a bike and loves his Ducatti to which affectionately calls "Pretty Eyes". He loves sports and for many years Christian practiced in soccer but had to leave due to an injury. Despite, him being a fan of Real Madrid and of course his beloved Mexico.
He is also a book lover and ventures into high risk sports like bungee cord.
